That’s Why the President is a Tramp

— by Odysseus

Donald Trump may have danced his first dance as President of the United States to the song “My Way”, made famous by Frank Sinatra. But there is another famous Sinatra song that explains the visceral revulsion that the glitterati have to him and the continually erupting hate-fest that has taken the place of what little “news” reporting was previously to be had in the United States. That song is:

“The Lady Is A Tramp”

She gets too hungry for dinner at eight
She likes the theater and never comes late
She never bothers with people she’d hate
That’s why the lady is a tramp

Doesn’t like crap games with barons or earls
Won’t go to Harlem in ermine and pearls
Won’t dish the dirt with the rest of the girls
That’s why the lady is a tramp

She likes the free fresh wind in her hair,
Life without care
She’s broke and it’s oke
Hates California, it’s cold and it’s damp
That’s why the lady is a tramp

She gets too hungry to wait for dinner at eight
She loves the theater but never comes late
She’d never bother with people she’d hate
That’s why the lady is a tramp

She’ll have no crap games with sharpies and frauds
And she won’t go to Harlem in Lincolns or Fords
And she won’t dish the dirt with the rest of the broads
That’s why the lady is a tramp

She loves the free fresh wind in her hair
Life without care.
She’s broke but it’s oke
Hates California, it’s so cold and so damp
That’s why the lady… that’s why the lady…
That’s why the lady is a tramp

Like the eponymous lady in the song, Donald Trump refuses to kowtow to the accepted standards of the self-appointed tyrants of language and culture. He is anathema to them. Like a gaggle of mean girls in a high school, they have enthroned themselves before the camera lenses and microphones in order to dictate to the rest of the citizenry how we must dress, how we must eat, what opinions we must have, what we can say, how we can say it, what we must find beautiful, and what we must find repellent. There is no aspect of life in America that should not be reviewed and approved by the mean girls in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

What is more, the mean girls do not promote the values of 240 years of American history or even 10,000 years of human civilization. Rather, drunk with power, they seek to promote many values that are odd and alien to Western or even human thought. At times, it seems as though, tittering among themselves, they demand new conventions merely to see how far they can push the rest of the student body into shameful contortions, just to delight in their own power of command. They experiment  to determine if they can they get everyone to come to school dressed as piglets . . . just because their clique pretends that it is the fashion de rigueure.

President Trump is thought of as a “tramp” and is called much worse because he dares to flout the nouveau conventions that the ruling clique has been so carefully working to establish over the last 40 years. He dares to say that the emperor has no clothes, and, in doing so, threatens to tear down their edifice of power. His success and wealth, in both the business world and even in their world of infotainment culture, puts him in a position to call them out for their absurdities on the very stage that they believe they own. In front of the entire student body, the most successful boy in the school calls them out and is dismissive of them, when he is not outright laughing at them. He dares to call a spade a spade.

As the song implies, this kultur gestapo erected a set of rules that are outside timeless human norms, largely unworkable, and are widely viewed as onerous and unpleasant. In contrast to the horror that he evokes among the ruling coven of true misfits, to most of the country, Donald Trump’s arrival to the White House is a breath of fresh air, at least a loosening of an over-tightened corset, and, to most, the removal of a painful steel muzzle. However, to those who depend on their artifice of nouveau conventions to stay in power — or even be considered as normal — he presents the terrible threat of having the entire school (or the world) return to normalcy, wherein they, themselves, will revert to being the ones who will be correctly viewed as being odd and freakish, or, even worse, nothing special.

The history of attempted cultural coups is long and not particularly distinguished. As far back as Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaton, ruling groups have attempted to enhance their own power and prestige by a top-down displacement of previously existing social norms that opposed their own attainment of a position at the top of the social pyramid. In essence, this was also the aim of both communism and Nazism, whose leaders feared that the return of cultural normalcy would expose their own essential identities as being those of rather pathetic, lower class “losers”. Similar to the return to power of the worship of the Egyptian god Amon after the interlude of the cult of Aton and its brief flowering under Pharaoh Akhenaton, the collapse of the Soviet Union after less than 80 years and the terrifying spasm of the Third Reich, these unwieldy experiments seldom last very long. The human affinity to normalcy runs deep whereas the noveau conventions truly only hold sway within a tiny, yet temporarily powerful coven.

Some of the people who ardently promote the coven’s radical cultural propaganda were born and raised in the intellectually incestuous and culturally deviant societies of San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. Yet, many of them are just skillful social climbers, who attempt to feign intellectual and social gravitas, by aping those who they believe to be sophisticates from “high society” in the big city. They desperately campaign for positions they don’t truly understand, because, in reality, they are desperately fearful of the discovery of their own normal and humble beginnings. They have transmogrified themselves, their language, their dress, their mannerisms, their opinions, and their religious beliefs, in order to conform and fit in with “high society”. Possessing no solid core values or even a stable identity within themselves, they adopted the mean girls edicts with the zeal of a born again convert. Their viciousness towards any non-conformists stems from their hatred of anyone who is not so easily malleable as themselves, shame at their own callow nature, and their fear of losing the lofty societal positions that they have so debased themselves to obtain.

The glitterati in the company towns of Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C., have now been relegated to shrieking and calling President Trump “a tramp” because they know that he is right and that their inane jig is up.
